Free face painting this weekend!

Visitors to Bell Court will be transformed into their favourite literary characters this weekend to help mark Shakespeare’s 454th birthday celebrations.

Free face painting will be on offer to all visitors between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 21st April in the Central Square at Bell Court with children invited to transform into tigers, fairies, wizards, superheroes or anything else their imagination conjures up.

Between 11.45am and 2.30pm, visitors will also be entertained with performances from the talented Rozie T Dance Academy and live music from Two Tone Acoustic.

Bell Court is also the sole sponsor of this year’s Community Literary Carnival Pageant which is part of the traditional birthday parade in Stratford-upon-Avon and will see local community groups and children dressed up in colourful costumes as they parade along Bridge Street.

Toby Saggers, Asset Manager at UK & European, owners of Bell Court, said: “Last week’s opening of Magic Alley signalled the start of summer at Bell Court, with a great atmosphere and lots of people dining outside, shopping and enjoying our magical new attraction!

“We want to continue the party atmosphere throughout the summer and what better way than to take part in Shakespeare’s birthday celebrations? There will be free face painting for children throughout the day, as well as live music and dance performances. Plus, with lots of new spring menus to choose from and shops to browse, there really is something for everyone.”

A new retail and leisure destination, accessed via High Street, Rother Street, Ely Street and High Street, Bell Court is home to numerous bars and restaurants including Nando’s, ASK Italian, All Bar One, Veeno and Miller and Carter, as well as home and lifestyle boutique, Farringdon and Forbes, Everyman Cinema and new family attraction, Magic Alley.
