The Comedy of Errors is believed to be one of Shakespeare’s earlier written plays; a comedy about separated family and mistaken identity.

A father ends up in the wrong country on the wrong day as a government makes hasty proclamations about travel. A lonely son, while searching for his brother, loses himself. Across town a wife starts to realise her husband is not the man she thought he was (but rather likes it). Will anything ever be the same again?

Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, a fairy-tale farce of everyday miracles, mistaken identity and double vision, is directed by comedy master Phillip Breen (The Provoked Wife 2019The Hypocrite 2017)

“After a period in which The Comedy of Errors has been busy as a headline on the government, the RSC gloriously reclaims it for theatre.” – The Guardian

“It’s unsettling, complementary, weird and utterly absorbing: the icing on that tasty summer pudding.” – WhatsOnStage

Join the RSC for a joyous moment of reunion, celebration and laughter in the brand-new open-air Garden Theatre, on the banks of the Avon.

The Comedy of Errors is now playing in the Garden Theatre until 26 September, before the show sets out on tour later in the year.

Newly created office space available at Bell Court for first time

Businesses in Warwickshire now have the opportunity to work from the heart of one of Stratford-upon-Avon’s favourite destinations for the first time, with new office space available at Bell Court.

Offering around 3,000 sq ft of modern, high-quality space, the first floor office is located at the centre of the scheme, above Nandos and overlooking the pedestrianised square at the heart of Bell Court.

The new space, which is the first office facility to be made available at Bell Court, is fully DDA compliant and provides a fitted kitchenette and toilets. The estate itself, offers a wide range of leisure and retail amenities and an NCP car park on-site, as well as being within a few minutes’ walk from Stratford-upon-Avon train station.

The air-conditioned office can be let in its entirety, in part, and also has the potential to be used for flexible working or serviced office concepts.

Large open plan office with laptops and separate meeting rooms.

Holly Woodhead from Blue Coast Capital, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for businesses to base themselves at Bell Court for the first time, and the development has a lot to offer to potential tenants looking to work from one of the town’s favourite locations.

“The view of the office has changed dramatically since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and businesses are beginning to look at locations which offer more to their staff and Bell Court’s range of amenities is a huge incentive.

“The office space itself is modern, flexible and high-quality, but it is the location within the bustling surroundings of Bell Court that sets the space apart.  We look forward to welcoming a new type of business to Bell Court.”
