As the final Christmas countdown gets under way, Bell Court in Stratford is the place to go for a host of festive food and drink treats while polishing off the presents shopping.

Bardias Stroopwafel Latte

There is a warm welcome waiting at Bardias which has a range of seasonal hot drinks to get the day started, including Tiramisu Latte, Stroopwafel Latte and Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate.

The coffee shop-come-florists and gifts emporium also offers a tempting array of homemade cakes, pastries and lunchtime snacks.

Wonderland

Wonderland also has a range of treats for peckish shoppers. This independently owned desserts and sweets treats parlour, which opened in July, offers a uniquely immersive Alice In Wonderland experience to its customers.

Tis is the season to be jolly, so there are plenty of festive cocktails to also be sampled, including at Wonderland between 6-10pm when the doors now open to treats of the more ‘grown up’ variety!

Elsewhere in Bell Court, at Veenos you can indulge in, among others, a Gingerbread Martini (Baileys, vodka, gingerbread syrup and gingerbread crushed biscuit) or the Candy Cane (Coconut puree, cranberry juice, strawberry puree and mint)

And for those who fancy returning when the Christmas shoppers have gone home, there’s a DJ playing at weekends to crank up the party atmosphere.

This popular wine bar also offers a host of culinary experiences, serving from their exclusive selection of Italian food and wines produced from the family’s own vineyard in Sicily.

All Bar One Christmas MartiniAcross at All Bar One there are also plenty of excuses to spoil yourself with their selection of Christmas cocktails, including a special indulgence for chocolate lovers. The restaurant chain has partnered with Hotel Chocolat again to serve their new Christmas Martini as well as their Petit Cadeaux range, all using smooth and decadent Velvetised Creams.

Mor bakeryFor those on a tight schedule who don’t want to miss out on the tasty treats, MOR Bakery and Kitchen in Bell Court has the perfect take home solution. They are also taking Christmas pre-orders on any of their baked goods, which will be ready for collection on Christmas Eve.

In PostBell Court is also home to InPost, a fast and convenient drop-off and collection point for those Christmas parcels. This first ever label-free service enables users to collect, return and send parcels in secure self-service lockers. So no more long Christmas queues at the Post Office.

EverymanAlso helping to keep the festive spirit in full flow throughout December is Everyman Cinema’s packed film line-up, from new movies such as, currently showing, Violent Night and Matilda The Musical through to new showings of Christmas classics such as Casablanca, Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually and The Polar Express.

And all of this against the festive backdrop of Cubbington Silver Band who will be entertaining shoppers with Christmas carols on Sunday December 11th (11am-3pm); Saturday, December 17th (10am-2pm) and Sunday, December 18th (11am-3pm). Funds raised will be shared between the band’s instrument fund and Myton Hospice.
