Entertainment announced for Magic Alley launch

With only two weeks to go until the opening of Magic Alley at Bell Court, it’s time to reveal what you can expect from the launch on Saturday 14th April – and it’s certainly a jam packed schedule of entertainment!

They’ll be everything from ice shows to acrobatics, live music and dance performances – obviously with an abundance of magic and wizardry.

First up is Scarlet Butterfly, an award-winning, internationally established aerial dance performer who will delight you with acrobatic and theatrical dance, as well as exquisite costumes and maybe even a bit of fire! She’ll be joined by game-playing magicians, Griffin and Jones who have become famous for their fast banter and contagious energy, as well as The Magic Ball Man who will mesmerise you with his juggling skills and his ability to make the ball float through the air!

To get you in the mood for a party, there’ll also be live music from Shades on Black and performances from talented local dancers at Rozie T Dance Academy.

Plus, if you’ve got your tickets, you’ll be the first to see the brand new Magic Alley attraction and see inside the world of a time travelling William Shakespeare (did we mention that he’s a wizard too?). Watch this space for more behind the scenes info as we countdown to the opening.

Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebrations

Join Bell Court to celebrate Shakespeare’s birthday celebrations in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 21st April.

This year, we’re proud sponsors of the Literary Carnival Pageant which will see hundreds of people marching through the town centre as characters from their favourite storybooks. One of the best places for you to watch the festivities will be on Bridge Street, where all of the participants will be greeted by ‘Mr Shakespeare’. We’ll also be presenting a prize to the best dressed!

The fun doesn’t stop there either. Come along to Bell Court where we’ll have free face painting throughout the day to turn your little ones into their favourite literary character. We’re expecting lots of wizards from Harry Potter, Lions from the Jungle Book and maybe even some pigs from Pepper Pig!  There’s no need to book ahead, just turn up.

We’ll also have live music in the main square and the talented dancers from Rozie T Dance Academy will be performing for you all!

See you there!
